Shannon is a senior professional with 25 years of experience in a variety of human resources positions in the healthcare industry. Shannon supports the human resources, compensation, and scheduling functions at Urgent Care Group.
Previously, Shannon served as Director, HRIS and Analytics for SpecialtyCare, a leading provider of outsourced clinical services to hospitals and health systems. In this role, Shannon had primary responsibility for Human Capital Management systems, HR reporting and security, governmental reporting, and the time and labor system. He had oversight of the compensation area and served as the Affirmative Action Officer. Prior to moving into the Director role, Shannon also served as Human Resources Manager, providing full-service human resources and recruiting support to a rapidly growing chain of surgical centers contracted with SpecialtyCare.
Prior to SpecialtyCare, Shannon served in HR roles at Renal Care Group with progressive levels of responsibility, including HRIS Analyst and Compensation Analyst. He was instrumental in the functional development, testing and implementation of all human resource related systems and upgrades, and all salary plans.
Shannon earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Human Relations and Organizational Management from Cumberland University.
